Description
- Highly resistant to chemical corrosion and has good crack resistance
- Suitable for electrical and chemical applications utilizing aluminum base metal with little or no alloying elements
- Low sensitivity to weld cracking with 6XXX series base alloys
- General purpose filler alloy and one of the most widely used welding and brazing alloys
- Excellent when aesthetics are of importance
- Not recommended for material to be anodized
