Auto Viscous Filters find application as a reliable prefilter in areas where dust concentration is very high in conditions like cement plant, Coal handling areas etc.
ALMONARD has direct and indirect driven units where on endless filtermat slowly rotates collecting the dust and immerses into an oil tank where the oil removes the dust and the cleaned mat rotates again to collect the dust.
One more endless mat called oil eliminator mat catches the residual oil sticking to the filtermat so that oil is not carried into the airstream.
The sludge collected at the bottom of the oil tank has to be periodically removed.
