Wet Scrubbers

Wet collectors for fumes, mist and suspended dust are called scrubbers. This class of pollution control equipments collects particulate by direct contact with water / liquid. This type of collectors have the ability to handle high temperature and light dust laden gases.
ALMONARD had developed an entire range of wet scrubbers to suit the needs of various industries and are made under strict supervision of highly qualified and experienced fan engineering team to give one of the world class highly efficient wet scrubber for air pollution control requirement.

Description

ALMONARD Wet scrubbers come in different configurations depending upon the customer requirement and the type of application.

Spray Tower Scrubber:
Static Wet Scrubbers is otherwise called as self induced spray scrubber. In this Scrubber the gas / air flowing at high velocity through the scrubbing liquid atomize the liquid. This atomized liquid form the spray to wet the particulate and forces down the particulate to settle. Baffles and mist elimators are provided to trap liquid particles in the leaving gas so as to allow only clean gas / air to the atmosphere through blower.

Static Column Wet Scrubber:
Spray Column / Tower is a scrubber where the gas / air is passed through a circular or rectangular chamber and comes in contact with liquid / water spray produced by spray nozzles. The gas and liquid contact are in counter current or cross flow due to this cleaning of gases takes place. Mist eliminator are provided for mist separation from leaving air. It is to be ensured that the re-circulating liquid is settled, filtered and treated.

Packed Tower Wet Scrubber:
This type is similar to the spray tower type scrubber. There is random packing such as dumped razing rings (or) poll rings. Depending upon the depath of the packing, the scrubber efficiency improved. The packings come in different shapes and in difference materials of construction such as pvc, pp and ceramics. This type is used for both gas absorption and fine particulate collection. Mist eliminators are provided on the top for mist separation from leaving air. It is to be ensured that the re-circulating liquid is settled, filtered and treated.
